Iceland and Newfoundland are very similar in many ways in both landscape and outlook. You’d like it I’m sure. I got home early this morning and I am unpacking, sorting through photos, and finding it very hot.

Hi to St. Teresa’s Grade Fives! I just got home early this morning. I too am finding it quite hot here since I was on a glacier and in the white and and cold on Monday! I’d love to go on an expedition with Nathan and other NL children! It was a great expedition and I appreciated having your class along! I’m trying to sort through lots of photographs today. I took over 600.

I think I like Iceland a lot from what I can find and watch about it on the Internet.
Some of the landscape is similar to NL.

Temps here are likely close to home. Snow on nearby mountains but things are starting to grow here. Lots of daylight. I really like Iceland.

Wow…Hi TA. I am so curious about how Rekyavik must look.
They have leaves on the trees already. We are starting to have leaves on the trees also..in NL.
Are they influenced by the Gulf Stream.

Congratulations T A. The joy and accomplishment is very evident in your voice as you finish your Greenland adventure. You’ve hiked 275 kilometers by ski and summitted Gunnbjorn Fjeld, the highest summit in the Artic. Wow! All of the Gr. 4′s from Holy Trinity have followed your adventure, we will look at the map tomorrow, to find the changes in latitude and longitude from your start to finish point. It is quite exciting to listen to your audioblogs…(like being there but not really) Thank you for sharing this adventure with us….we wish you health and happiness on your trip to Iceland and then back home to Newfoundland.

Hi TA.. Thanks for the wonderful update today. So good to hear that all is going well and that you are happy and upbeat. I could picture you skiing from your very descriptive words. Hope you have lots of food and have as many comforts as is possible to have on such a trip. Good to hear the weather is cooperating as well. Our weather – sunny, +15C and the leaves are out and tulips blooming… earliest I can remember.
I’ll keep following and waiting for your next update.
