Junko Tabei from Japan was the first woman to summit Mount Everest. Here is a picture of Everest she signed for the owners of the Sherpa Lodge here in Lukla. She is one of my heroes.

Craving views-Signal Hill offers them in every direction and every part of the day from sunrise to sunset!What a morning. I could hardly hike as I had to keep stopping to take pictures. After a windy winter, this relatively wind still spring has been such a treat.Me and my red shoes perched high above St. John’s during our sunset hike this evening.I’ve been missing favourite Back Harbour boat so here it is from a different moment of capture.Throwback Thursday to an island in the Labrador Sea after the bear swam off and the evening calm returned.I love it when the lupine play catch with few drops.TA’s Facebook Page
