The bags are packed, we’re almost ready to go…after a week of many decisions, the finally put everything in bags and dropped them off at our teammate Mark’s house yesterday. He and Darren are driving to Labrador as I type. The rest of the team flies to Goose Bay tomorrow (TA, Marian, Jim and Keith) and weather willing, we fly to the headwaters of the Notakwanon River on Tuesday to begin our descent of the river from source to sea. We have a sat phone along and a SPOT tracker so there may be opportunities to follow along…not sure…so check my blog over the next two weeks and see if I’m able to get work out…if not, I promise a full report upon our return. We, conditions willing, will be flying home from Natuashish, Labrador on August 31 with lots of new stories to tell.
