Out under the open sky. It makes my heart sing. Today’s adventure was ski exploring the Rainbow Gullies. We’re two for two for sunsets. I’m liking this trend. Especially hiking to high places to watch the sunset. It’s working for me.Today we ended our adventurous day with a @rootsrantsroars winter #MyFoodHike from @chinchedmeats. We had a super-east contactless pick-up and we were off to find a picnic with a view. We decided to hike up to the Princes Ridge over looking Conception Bay and Bell Island. The WSW wind was brisk on our faces so we found a sweet spot tucked in the woods to enjoy our picnic treats. We unwrapped a selection of Chinced meats and condiments and dug in. We braved the wind to take in the sunset and then hiked back down. Returning home, we had picnic 2.0 paired with @bannermanbrewingco Drive True and Georgetown Bakery bread. A fine celebration of yummy foods, good views, and some fine memories all packaged up in a backpack. Winter #MyFoodHike packs are available for tomorrow and next Thursday through Sunday. Get ‘em while their cold!Sending some weekend love your way. How will your spend this precious time? Looking forward to some outdoor trail action today and tomorrow...the only question remains...hike, bike, ski, snowshoe or e) all of the above? Let me know what you’re at-webcam compare notes.Where will your path lead you this weekend? What trails will you follow? Which vistas will invite you? Where will you wander to wonder? Adventures await...The sky said, “I’m feeling a bit blue today.” The tree answered, “It’s okay, I have the strength today to hold you up.” I stood and listened quietly.TA’s Facebook Page

Get Away to the Mountains, the Deserts and the Deepest Recesses of the Earth-A Found Piece of Writing
Here on 2-20-20, another fine odometer moment, I delved into a little Finder clean-up/re-org and found this piece I’d written some time ago. Given all the skiing we’ve been doing this winter and given our soon to be departure to … Continue reading
