Answering Questions and Building Meaning with LEGO® Serious Play®

I have found, in both my adventurous life and university teaching, that words alone are sometimes insufficient to communicate deeper meanings. I often turn to photography or experiential activities to bridge that gap, to bring stories and their insights to the fore. I recently added another method to my toolbox for situations where insight needs to be built, not solely discussed.

I’m now offering LEGO® Serious Play® facilitation for teams, leaders, and communities seeking deeper dialogue and authentic engagement. LEGO® Serious Play® is a hands-on facilitation approach that invites individuals and groups to construct meaning, to surface what may go unsaid, and to explore complex questions with creativity. Along with climbing ropes and knots, building bricks will be making appearances in both my group facilitation and keynote presentations because sometimes the most profound stories we tell are the ones we build together.
