There is nothing like the total concentration of archery. So many moving pieces to hold still and steady including my mind. It’s been 8 days since I posted a picture of my favourite wooden boat photographic muse. It’s on shore in Back Harbour Twillingate and it calls to me each time I visit. I wish I knew a bit more about its story-can anyone shed some light? The view from my classroom window this morning…If I could just spread my wings and fly…often said on a steep descent to save knees and toes! In other words, Marian making TA’s favourite shape on the top of Gibbet Hill!We had a family canoe outing with the grand young humans. We catamaraned the canoes to make the trip super fun (think party boat for toddlers) and super safe (virtually impossible to tip). This is a technique I also use when adapting canoeing for folks with various disabilities who might benefit from some extra stability. You can also see that Marian and I had a win in getting “proof of concept” on our canoe outrigger situation (again these will add additional stability for anyone who needs it). So fun to see Long Pond through the eyes of young ones. The sky, the sky, the sky…as seen from my one my newest favourite spots on Signal Hill for a view. I usually only have to share it with the birds.TA’s Facebook Page
