We made our last big climb into Lukla this afternoon and enjoyed a treat at the German Bakery that is attached to our guest house. We had “pig’s ears” as Oma called them or butterfly Wing cookies as they are known here.

We are hoping to fly to KTM tomorrow after we appreciate our Nepali staff this evening. We fly home on May 11-12.
