    HI TA,
We are enjoying your audio posts. The answer to the question how long before you get to the mountain we think it is 12 days if you are lucky to walk every day. Looks like the polar bear might not happen but can you bring us back a baby one. We like hearing about what you are eating, especially the soup and pringles. Today we are having snow it looks like winter again. Have you seen any more avalanches? Lots of luck for the remainder of your adventure.

Hi TA great to hear everything is good on you latest adventure and here is the answers to the question as to the differene between glaciers and ice caps.Stay safe and have a safe journey. The answers are:
Valley glaciers are streams of flowing ice that are confined within steep walled valleys, ice caps are not constrained by topographical features.
One of the differences between a glacier and a polar ice cap is that a glacier is a big body of ice that moves while an ice cap is a body of ice that does not move. Carla
