I don’t have a guess but just wanted to comment – that bird is adorable!
Smile!!!
Smile, eh, so it’s the Bluebird of Happiness?
Sounds like from Trien’s research, it’s a blue penguin…but hark…is the little guy the only thing in the picture?
Hey TA, I have been thinking about this and can only take a shot in the dark going with the theme that there will be 3 peaks. Although my 5 year old son and I were talking about where you will be climbing and his guess is Mt. Whitney :-).
I am going with the 3 tallest peaks in Canada in this order: Mt. Lucania, Mt. Saint Elias, and Mt. Logan. Laterally, they are a long way from Newfoundland.
Hey Chris,
Nice to hear from you. Thank your son for his guess-someday I’ll climb the highest peal in California but not quite yet. Excellent stab in the dark but not quite right…I hadn’t know the names of Canada’s Number 2 and 3 so thanks for that…hope you are well! Are you getting any climbing in?
Well well well….if it isn’t a little blue penguin. The little blue penguin is the smallest species of penguin. They are native to Australia and New Zealand, and only grow to be an average of about 16 inches tall. Here is an interesting story I found on the internet while looking up these adorable little fellas… Linus Torvalds, the creator of Linux was bitten by a blue penguin on a vacation to Australia. This prompted Linus to choose Tux as the mascot for the Linux operating system.
So my guess is going to center around Australia or New Zealand. I have one more guess today so I will do some more research 🙂
Cool on the Linux story…we have lots of penguins around house and home-some of which are Tux!
