Where will your path lead you this weekend? What trails will you follow? Which vistas will invite you? Where will you wander to wonder? Adventures await...The sky said, “I’m feeling a bit blue today.” The tree answered, “It’s okay, I have the strength today to hold you up.” I stood and listened quietly. This is Alice, @quainooalice , my grad student. We went out on a snowshoe last week and Alice was a willing photographic subject-spelling Marian from that duty for much of that outing. What I love about this pic, is Alice’s joy at being outside in a new place, and almost tipping off the rock. I also love that Alice’s jacket matches her snowshoes! It’s good to get away from our screens and spend time outside, physically distanced of course, to re-focus, re-fresh and re-create our attention.Left home with bluebird skies for a snowshoe. By the time we reached the trailhead, the skies were clouded over. Then my snowshoe broke do it turned into a hike. Then the skies opened and the flakes of snow came down fast and mighty. Then as we neared the end of our hike, the skies began to clear. By the time we got back home, the skies went all blue again. Was I just dreaming we were in a mini blizzard?I'm enjoying watching the snow and looking forward to the adventure possibilities it brings. Our afternoon ski was through most magical woods laden with fresh snow. The sun dappled through the weave of branches to leave treasures of light on the snow.TA’s Facebook Page
