Staring down a hyacinth and the fragrance is divine. Stop, look, and sniff. We took our kayaks out to Thomas Pond to get a linger paddle under our boats. The sunshine was lovely to see and feel. Paddles like this one will help us develop endurance, refine our strokes, and perfect our packing systems. As we prepare for our All Around the Circle expedition, we are gradually upping our paddling time and overall physical activity. It’s critical to build strength and endurance in a paced way to avoid tweaking old injuries. The waterways both fresh and sea screaming with the excitement of spring with young waterfowl on the way and whales returning to our waters to feed. Gradually temps are starting to rise and spending more time in the plus five zone! Woot! How’s everyone doing on this 2-4 weekend? Hanging out? Perching with your buddies? The sun was as welcome yesterday. Here’s to another great day!Captured this landing last summer. It was in the early morning with an orange smoke-filled sky. Heading back again to the same area in a few weeks and hoping for fair winds and clear skies! Is @eastcoasttrail calling you this long weekend? Will you answer?Explore TA's Website
