Book TA as a Speaker
TA's Instagram
Did my first shift on the picket line this morning. I felt supported by all the honks from people driving by on Prince Phillip Parkway and especially when one of my grad students brought me coffee. I’d rather be teaching and working on my research projects but admin’s unwillingness to bargain meaningfully over the past 12 months has us here. Weather was challenging but spirits were high-we know what we are fighting for-a quality future for our university!!! Send some kindness to your MUN faculty, librarian, and co-op coordinator friends. :-) #fairdealatmunSelf-portrait …between a rock and a sea place.I’m thinking I should have worn my orange shell…then you could have spotted me easier enjoying this fab view along Conception Bay yesterday-instead I kinda blend in :-). Where’s TA?I had the privilege of photographing sunrise and sunset from some of our fabulous hiking trails. There is no greater stress reliever for me that spending time outdoors, moving through amazing landscapes, and sharing amazing views like this one with the most amazing shape maker, @wissmarianGood Morning from above The Battery-where this morning, the only light show was the sunrise! (Thank goodness).Good Morning St. Johns’s!TA’s Facebook Page

Navigating the Landscape
Happy Equinox, Hard to believe that summer is over and we’re heading for the darker part of the year. I’ve always wanted the longest day of the year to be in August, not June. That way, the loss of light … Continue reading

Flat Stanley is in the House
Good Morning, I’m back in my chair after a whirlwind road trip to the far side of the province. Marian and I headed out Friday morning to drive to Gambo. There I did a first–I presented at Smallwood Academy … Continue reading

Climbing Gros Morne
Greetings from Gros Morne, Some dreams take longer to percolate than others. I had hoped to ascend Gros Morne as part of the Long Range Traverse in 1996 but there were no transmitters available so we were limited to camping … Continue reading
