Hey TA, Loving the audio updates! Question(s) for you from all of us at Easter Seals…How cold does it get at the high altitudes and is there any wildlife along your trek?
Keep up the great work! Keep trekking we’re all rooting for you!
Mark
Hey I’ve been trying to find information on advanced base camp on the internet, however information is limited. I’ve been looking into doing a day trip from Ama Dablam base camp to ABC, if it is possible? Would I need to obtain a climbing permit to get to this point? Can you shed some information on route conditions? We are doing the three passes trek, and would like to incorporate this as a side trip. Thanks for your help!
-Jocelyn
Hi-It would quite the side trip to ABC unless you were well acclimatized. I remember it as quite the grunt. I’m sorry that I can answer your question about whether or not you would require a permit to go to advanced base camp. I’m thinking you might since that would be more on the climbing route than the trekking route but I don’t know for sure. Enjoy your trip.
