A puddle in front of a harbour in front of a ocean. Another interesting view over to Signal Hill and Cabot Tower. If you are willing to climb our hills, so many views await.Stop! Look closely. What you will see are hikers have a whale of a time on one of St. John’s most iconic trails, The North Head. Hiking along it gives you great views of the city, a view out the Narrows and over to Fort Amherst, a stair master worthy workout if you hike it in the uphill direction, and indeed, a decent chance of spotting a whale when they are about. A wonderful ribbon of a trail-don’t miss it!My recipe for a marvellous view involves hiking, Signal Hill, Cabot Tower and the @eastcoasttrail. Best enjoyed warm and wonderful.@icebergquest you were looking some good as you headed out past The Battery neighbourhood yesterday afternoon. You were adding to the colour palette.A foggy one out there today…St. John’s is colourful even in the dark. Night hikes let us see the city in new light.TA’s Facebook Page
