Another fine outing with my class to Salmonier Nature Park with my class. My arrow grouping is getting much better including several in the yellow today! #archery #meditation #bullseye.Good morning and good night YYT.Some sights from around Lisbon-how many can you recognize?I enjoyed a lovely lap on the North Head Trail today-it had been too long!I enjoyed both attending and photographing a women’s chain saw workshop yesterday. It was sponsored by the Becoming an Outdoors Woman program. I brought a camera along and it was a challenging activity to capture as I had to avoid getting hit by falling trees, getting oily sawdust on my lens, and trying to capture faces in the midst of folks wearing fairly intensive PPE. I wanted to capture a mini story for each participant about their experience of using a chainsaw. Here’s one of the attendees in action.TA’s Facebook Page

Always Have the Support of a Joyful Mind (especially when it is raining buckets)
We are ready to head out for another wet day on the Kerry Way, here in Southern Ireland. We’re batting about 1/3 sunny and 2/3 rainy and windy. Not bad odds for one of the greenest places on earth. Yesterday, … Continue reading
Walking My Way Back to Ewe Babe
Hello from County Kerry, Marian and I are using foot power once again as we make our way around the Kerry Way. Some will remember that we were here almost 2 years with our friend, Andy, during our Five Peaks … Continue reading
Dry It, You’ll Like It!
There is nothing like holding a whole jar of salsa in your hands, without any drips, that gets you excited about an upcoming paddling trip. Marian Wissink and I spent the last week turning 40 kg of “wet” food into … Continue reading
Five Peak Challenge Complete
Today we completed our “Five Peak Challenge”. We climbed to the highest peak of each country of the United Kingdom and Ireland. It’s been an awesome trip of climbing and road tripping. We’ve climbed the equivalent of about 35 Signal … Continue reading
